Module 1: Basics of Equity Financing
The first module provides a clear understanding of how venture capital works — from the internal logic and motivation of VC funds to their selection criteria and decision-making processes. It explains how the typical VC deal flow is structured, which steps a startup goes through and where the course for an investment is set. In addition, various investor types such as business angels, VC and corporate funds are classified.
Module 2: Material for successful VC fundraising from A to Z
The second module develops the key preparation elements for successful fundraising: cap table, financial plan, IP, pitch deck, due diligence and data room. Based on this, the typical stages and the time structure of the fundraising process are explained. The focus is on the connection between financing rounds and entrepreneurial milestones as well as the importance of product-market fit as a key to investor interest.

This module is about defining the ideal investor profile and developing a targeted investor approach. Strategies for creating and researching the right potential investors are taught. Module 4: From initial contact to successful investment — and what comes next
This module explains the main steps of an investment, from start-up valuation to deal closing. It involves preparing and negotiating term sheets, mastering due diligence and the final steps of the deal. In addition, the focus will be on investor relations management following the deal.
